So I broke my 2009 Motolite today.

Not doing anything too crazy at the timeSo I broke my 2009 Motolite today.-titus.jpg. Probably just the years of accumulated fatigue from doing 2 to 4 foot drops and riding rocky trails.

Bummer, but that is where they break. I quick scan of the Planet X site didnt show any motolite stays, seems they had them for all the Racer X's, FTM's, Guapos, and Rockstars. I would call Planet X in Portland and talk with Vince or Brandon and see if they have anything lying around.

The newer chainstays can be retrofit with new seat stays, but there might be older used stays around.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

Try to find the FR chain stays from the old Moto-lite or the ML-1. My FR stays held up, much beefier (square/box tubing doesn't budge compared to those)

I have a chainstay from a Switchblade that I posted for sale here on MTBR a while ago, not sure if the ad is still up....
