    Question for Small MotoLite Owners

Has anyone tried using the water bottle mount? I would like to run my light battery in the cage and I am worried that due to the position the battery will fall out or get hammered going over larger obstacles. Has anyone had any success with using this mount? As of now, I do not even have a cage installed.

I've got a sm frame, and I don't do any night riding, but I would have the same suspicions as you about the location. I don't have a bottle cage either. Any compatible batteries you could toss in a jersey pocket or camelbak?

I have a bottle cage there, and I didn't have a problem with its location so far. IMO it has to be a very large obstacle to damage that area.

Have mine mounted there I ride over very large logs and other big obstacles. It's never been a problem. It does look exposed out there but trust me it's not a problem.

I have yet to use that mount underneath, that location just seems too sketchy.

Thanks for the responses. I found an option that may work - Seatpost adapter. Check the link. http://www.bikemannetwork.com/biking/p/WC3002

Eww, I tried that Minoura bottle holder and it was pretty crappy, it would always come loose. But if you insist on getting one, Nashbar has it for cheap.

Thanks for the info. I did not think about it coming loose. You saved me some aggrivation.

I going to email you tomorrow for some of those Titus stickers. They look very good.
