    First ride (in the truck)

Looks like you got home safely in the slush.

You should be able to get it out on the trails in a month or so!

Here ya go. Thanks, Bob. Took her out on a shake-down Sunday. She threw me, but I know that was just because she loves me. I got right back on we got along the rest of the day.

Quick snapshot with a P&S, but I'll get some better photos next time were out on a ride.

The Fiance's FTM, 25lbs on the dot. Domo not included...

Still room to shave weight but it'll probably be pretty sketchy on the downs if we take off any more.

It's a size small, the seatube is shorter so the support for it gets welded that way.

    Lol no problem,

I hadn't seen a size small frame untill I got my Fiance's and it was a little surprised it looked quite a bit different than the medium.

Maybe I got 29" wheels? No, I ordered black, and those are what I got. Maybe they refer to the black spoke sleeves?

    cool

Loved the video. Bike unpacked, built up, and ridden in 3 minutes 17 seconds. Grease everywhere?

I missed the part where he installed the brake lines through the frame. That would be of interest. Even more interesting, the 3D bike fitting process.

Glad to see you finally on your new bike. Get used to her before you attempt to go faster and bigger.

Nice one! I liked the video , too. Like a fast "how to" training about assembling bikes.
Your blog rocks, I just missed more pictures from it.

    Hey dude
they are anodised bolts from racebolts.com got em a few years ago - I am in New Zealand and they even shipped em out here.
At the moment the orange ano is on the wall , swapping over the components onto silverblack carbon FTM with the blue stripe .
    Blue highlights forever.
Blue accents - ? straitline ano blue levers , esigrip chunky grips blue + have you seen the new cobalt 3 system on crankbrothers web site - blue again - but they arent available till august or so
Will post a pic of the new build when she is done 0 just rolled down the road outside this shop this evening
    Hope this helps
