A few changes to the build:

    TALAS RLC > 32 Float 140 FIT RLC QR15
    XT > XTR Cranks
    XT > King BB
Race Face 110 mm Stem > Thomson 90 mm 10
XTR > Crank Brothers 2Ti pedals

    Large FTM TI. 25.1 pounds

The XTR crank-set is a huge upgrade.
    King BB is butter.

I love the fork. I stopped using the TALAS feature about a month after switching to the FTM from the ML, so I picked up the Float. It's super plush and linear. I think the QR15 is great as well. It definitely tracks better through rough stuff than the '08 TALAS with standard QR.

    2009 FTM
    Size Large
    Kit 1 Spec's

    Upgrades:
    SLX Crank
    SLX Cassette
    XT Front Deraileur
Stan's ZTR Hubs with White ARCH Wheels (Tubless)

Plan to start swapping parts to lose some weight.

Spec'd components would not have been my first choice, but for $2800.00 out the door I was not going to complain. She can be heavy for a while!

hello! i recently purchased an FTM frame on-line.. it's a 2009 model with a 2010 Fox RP23 with Boost Valve, my question is can I still use my old fork from my Rocky Mountain Slayer SXC? it has a 125-165 travel. Also, what is the diameter of the seat post and seat collar of the FTM as I am hoping to be able to use my old one

    Yes on the fork.

Seatpost is 30.9 if I am not mistaken.

    Black and Gold

Noticed I didn't have a large FTM or ML to demo (ride myself).
That, and some winter boredom, led to this gold-accented black ano bike.

XTR drivetrain, Formula Oro brakes, Crank Brothers wheels, Conti tires. And a few bits of gold to compliment the wheels. Gold 990 cassette, KMC SL chain, Candy SL, seat clamp, headset spacers for now.

Fork is temporary to see how it works. Maybe a black Revelation soon.
But the 2010 Marzocchi feels pretty good.

The black ano is still a classic. Looks good on your truck, too.

    Several black FTMs shown above.
