Or do scrap the whole thing and come back with a 650b.

I would much prefer a 27.5 EG setup w/ it's 8.5 x 2.5 shock than the endorphine

142mm axle is a BIG fat upgrade for HL, I like to see fresh new stuffs...proper updating of EG seatstay/rear end for this definitely qualifies!

The curvy hydroform stays looks nice and is lighter but I much prefer the old boxy stays..
esp at the loop area over the seattube. The new ones has lesser material (and probably accounts for the majority of the 150gm weight drop?/) but makes for flexy tabs for the rocker mounting.

Keep it up Titus. All versions of the El Guapo have been excellent bikes. I have a V3 and ride it relatively hard at times. I have never had any issues with flex in he rear end or feared it being weak in any way. Hat said, I am excited to try the 29" version.

That would be a daft idea. 650B should work in 650B frames. Not in 26in frames.

I felt like that was the best bike I rode at Interbike. The Carbine 275 will probably be more popular then the original Carbine. The Guapo has similar geometry, think about how cheap it would be to just design and build a new rear end instead of a whole frame? Just something to stew around in your mind Brant.

Yeah, that hip area around the seat tube is an awesome piece with the rocker.. I am certainly glad Titus/On One sold me mine!!

A while back i was doing a quick scroll over the AM shootout thread looking to check out some new photos. For split second thought I saw white el Guapo, didn't notice the seat tube pivot while scrolling and thought this hip area had been updated (be awesome to have it updated to match the new bridge piece)
