    NOS RX-1 Buildup

I finally put together the '08 RX-1 frameset I bought this winter. Oddly enough it came with a Fox RP-23. Yes, it's an XL.
Mostly XTR 951, some new parts and NOS I've collected throughout the years. I'm not sure about the Ringle riser bar, I may switch it to a flat carbon.
I'm anxious to see how it rides.

Looks great. Are there grips on that bike?

I'm a little confused. My RX-1 is also (supposedly) an '08 but the frame is the same as a Racer-X. None of that triangle bracing business near the seatpost. What gives? Maybe mine's an '09?

What size is yours? From what I've seen the Large and xlarge had the bracing, smaller sizes didn't. Did yours also come with the Fox Rp23 float?

That might explain it - mine's a Medium. Came with Fox Float RP2 rear and F100-R front. I've been riding it a little over two years (bought it new in Jan 2010), not one complaint. Fast, nimble. Love it. Good luck with yours.
