    Which Monarch for El Guapo?

    Howdy!

I've been running a Evolver ISX 6 on my El Guapo since 2007. I'm actually, on my second Evolver... Great shock for the bike performance wise, but they need to be rebuilt on a yearly interval - @ $125 per pop.

Soooo I'm gonna go with a Monarch Plus RT3 HV. I see that it comes in both a "Mid Tune" and a "Low Tune" version.

Which should I get for the EG, and why?????

    Thanks for any guidance!

I don't know if this chart is still valid, but would those correspond with former D and E tunes???

If so, the EG would be comfortable with a Low Tune (former D Tune)...

But, it's all armchair guessing from here.

From my math it should be the mid-tune?

Also happy to see that the "plus" model fits on the eg . Is that a large or medium frame?(I'll be calling the shop today)

155/63 = 2.46 ... and it's a rising rate, which means the leverage falls towards the deep end of travel. But yeah, we could argue about it as it's on the transition area of the chart.

But then, I don't have an EG, so take it for what it's worth.

Don't forget the rebound gets a healthy boost in the top vs bottm hole..
