New question here. just bought a 2010 El Guapo!

    Hi guys!

I'm so stoked! Bought me self a 2010 orange EG with DHX 5.0 rear suss. and Domain 318 suss fork!

Recently received my SLX double crankset and saint shifters. I'm going to get the wheelset next.

    here is what confusing me

this built has a Saint 12mm thrubolt

while this built has QR 9mm

I'm going to either get a XT M776 wheelset with QR9mm or a Custom Saint hub with ZTR flow. The XT is QR9mm while the Saint is 10mm thrubolt.

So what is EG rear axle fitting size?

    Pardon my lack of knowledge.

and the famous long term review of the EG by NSMB, they have a 10mm thrubolt on the DT swiss as mentioned by this forum thread

    It will take

a 135mm x 9mm or 135mm x10mm through axle, it wont take a 12mm. That build spec must be incorrect or the owner modified his dropouts.

or maybe, on that build, the rear hub is 12mm (Saint) but the guy used a step-down axle
