HCR with fox fork - rebound cap interference with down-tube

Any HCR owners with this problem? The frame is equipped with a CK headset which may be contributing to the issue. I looked at the CK 5mm baseplate, but not really wanting to screw up the handling by increasing height. Looks like I might be able to grind off the ridges on the knob to gain clearance. It would look crappy, but I would preserve my handling.

Guess I could change forks, but the fox is a pretty good match.

I got a closer look today and grinding the rebound adjuster cap down is not an option as the screw itself is still going to hit. Loving the bike though. I have had two 80mm racer X's and a 100mm hammerhead previously and this HCR SS is a great ride. Guess I will just go with a different suspension fork or maybe go rigid instead and drop a bit more weight.

Ended up keeping the fox fork and just using the thicker Chris king crown race. Worked perfectly with no more adjuster clearance issues and the bike still handles great.
