Full Tilt Moto: white on white with white

I promised a couple guys I would post pix of the new ti FTM, but UPS had different plans for us.
So I took a few spare parts and came up with this.

My first intention was Talas QR15 , but the white Fox complimented the FTM paint and graphics so perfectly.

    Question one-white brakes or black?
    Question two-too much white?
    Question three-more gold?

I will redo it soon with black wheels, bigger tires, as well as finish the cabling, etc.

Answer 1: Silver. 09 Marta SL's to be exact. They are the shizzle and don't squeal like my old Puro's. Better in every way.
    Answer 2: Yes.
Answer 3: Never. Less gold is always more.

To much white...Loose the white wheels and you'll be golden. And go easy on the gold, there can be to much gold.

One: White brakes.... or black with red, Elixir style...
Two: Nah.... put a white saddle
Three: A bit more gold here and there...

Red Magura's and Red/black FSA cockpit items and Blue I-9's would give it a cool red white and blue theme.

.... I've got a fever and the only prescription that bike needs that can cure it is....

    Concensus

    Thanks for the suggestions.
So far it's less white, more white, less gold, more gold, more blue, more red, and silver.

These Hugi/Ritchey wheels were just sitting there all pumped up and ready to mount. Don't freak out.

Still a work in progress. More variations coming soon.

Not a fan of the red build. Would like to see more Gold or more Blue. What gold chain did you speck on the first build? I would like to throw that on mine! I liked the idea of the white FTM at first but I don't dig the paint and decals as opposed to the Black and Orange ano w/o decals!

Are you going to build up the Orange anytime soon?

    Twenty Five

I get 25.3 lb with XTR cranks, shifter, brakes, DT 240 wheelset, Ritchey Pro stem, Maxm carbon bars, Thomson post, CK headset, F120, Nevegal 2.35, Small Block 8 2.35, WTB Rocket V Race, KMC SL chain.
That's a large. I can easily see close to 24 pounds on a medium with a few changes.

In my opinion the white on white theme with some red ano details looks spot on! So, skip the gold, and keep the white..

Getting exited here cause my white FTM should arrive within two weeks. I have my white Float 15QR standing in the corner ready to be installed as are my red CK headset and bottom bracket. I even have the white CrankBrothers Candy 2Ti pedals ready to go. Still thinking about which wheelset to go with. I'll most probably go with red CK hubs, white DT 4.2d rims and maybe DT aerolite spokes. Any wheelset comments?

    Bob the interior designer

    Hey Bob

Ive always enjoyed the colorful builds you post - Mmm frustrated interior designer !!
    Keep em coming .
White looks great but after being slightly bitten by the 06 Blue ML paint issues I have gone to the orange ano - so it sticks out like dogs b@lls and good promo for LBS .

I dig the Orange as well, but I went black after having an Orange Yeti 575 as my last steed! You guys will love this bike, I have done just under 100 miles on mine thus far and that's coming off of a surgery after bringing the bike home.

I in no way did a weight weenie/conservative build with mine and I came in at 26.3 with a medium, so I know that you can get the medium to the low 25's and probably sub-25 if you really slim it up!

I like the white rims too! Maybe just add some red and blus accents. Add a white saddle.

Show me a black on black one at 24 lbs, and I may consider getting one.

Gotta say: having a sub 25# 5" and a piggish 6" bike sounds like the perfect tool box.
