El Guapo feedback? A couple questions...

    Hi Titusers,

I have a couple questions about the Guapo.

First off is the Blue a PC or Ano? I'm deathly scared of Titus PC after seeing what our demo bikes look like after a year.

How does it ride? There aren't too many posts about it that I have seen.

    Is it Taiwan made?

Frame weight? We have one at the shop built at 32lbs, but I wonder what just the frame weighs...

I need a new bike, I've been looking at the Nomad and Heckler, and even the DB Mission. I'm getting anxious to build a new one and Santa Cruzes are on backorder for god knows how long. I'm not sure I could handle riding a DB. Titus has the El Guap in stock in Blue, should I give in to my impatience?

Pretty sure blue is powder coat; I'm a big ano fan myself.

I posted the review of my demo bike in this forum, too lazy to find the thread.

I think it is made in Taiwan.

The frame is a little over 7 lbs from what I read with the Pearl air shock.

The Heckler is sweet looking but I haven't found one to test ride anywhere.

Frame is def made in Taiwan. The blue is PC, but Titus changed powdercoaters this year...I think they learned their lesson from last year. Frame weight should be in between 7.2 and 7.8 pounds depending on size and shock.

    That blue looks killer.

Do a search for "guapo" here and just dig through the threads. The titles will make the content obvious. There have been some demo rides reported.
My video techniques can be found in this thread.

Thanks, I got hold of a Nomad. Seems proven and is less expensive. Should be here this week!

I saw the blue in the Titus factory last week, it looks the ducks nuts, nearly as nice as the Intense baby blue....

I agree, there have been a few threads, but not really many reviews or reports, thought a few more would have risen by now....

I hear through the grapevine that TiEndo has ordered a Ti El G................................................. .................................................. .
