    EG Option

    Hi Guys,
I'm really interested in the EG. I have the Monarch & the CC version in my basket.

Would I regret going for the cheaper Monarch version or is the CC version that good I'd be daft not to go for that?

    Thanks for any constructive replies

Most I have seen have bought the monarch version. For me, I like the monarch but had a possible air leak. I like my rp23 about 75% of the time and recently used a coil and really like it for DH use.

It really depends on what you want to do. Are you a knob twister or do you set it and forget it? From what I have read the CC is a knob twisters dream but kind of a pain if you're not into tweaking your stuff.

All depends on the intended use

Monarch is pretty good, CCDBA can be hard to tune and adds some weight. I've heard great things about the Monarch Plus but you have to buy it aftermarket. The bike also does really well with a coil shock. My suggestion is to buy the Monarch and pick up a DSP Dueler with a Ti Spring for it and swap it out for different applications.

    Thanks for the reply Terrible.

My riding is general trail with big mountain days thrown in, and I want to go back to doing uplift days.

In general I do like to set and forget my shocks......

I used my 2010 Enduro with the RP23 for uplift days and changed it for DH setting which was great.
So, I do like having some options
