    Carbon FTM front mech issues

new build. Slx groupset. FD-M671 front. Shifting is very heavy. Disconnect cable and shifter and cable is very smooth and lite. Converted to 2x with bash. It shifts up and down alright, but the shifts are very firm. I am wondering if the seat tube angle means I have the wrong front mech for this frame? anyone else ever have this issue?

Pics? My cable contacts the frame when in the bigger ring, I put some clear guard there and no prob....mine also seems firm, but fd's usually feel that way, right?
