Built up a 2009 Racer-X for the upcoming cross country series here in New England...
Frame,shock, and fork
Easton monkey lite bars and Crank Bros Head set
08 XT brakes
XT crank, XT shifters, XT front Der, XTR rear der, XT wheelset, FSA K force seat post, and Race king 2.2 tires....
I ended up switching the F90RL fork for a float RLC set at 110mm, Set at 90 or 100mm the bike seemed a bit less stable through the technical rock gardens and rooty sections. At 110mm it seems to turn very quick, climb well, and blast through the tech stuff. Love the race king tires! So light and so grippy. I placed second in the maiden race yesterday.
