    Been pretty quiet here lately...

Titus posted this on their Facebook wall. Looks like the EG 29 production samples have made it to Portland. The rest won't be far behind.

    Very nice!
Hopefully a lot of 26 EG's will be making it on to the market now

I agree, Craigstr. We need to all get out and ride and take some pictures to prove it happened.
    I like bikes.

I know they are testing the DSP Dueler on the new OnOne Codeine and Brant was sent a 8.5x2.5 to test on a El Guapo 26. Not sure what shock is coming stock on the new EG 29. I think they should start working on an EG 650B in CARBON!. Look at all the new 650B bikes released lately...Bronson, spy shots of a Trance, Chilcotin supposedly on the way. If they could release it with 12x142 rear and 150-160mm of travel, in carbon for around $1750, think of the hit they would have.

Sounds great Craigstr! I think the Codeine looks like a perfect aggressive 29er. My cousin (Wasea04) has run a DSP on his El Guapo and has loved it! I think the 650b in carbon would be a well positioned frame for Titus. It is fun to see how big Enduro has become and the quick response from manufacturers in terms of additional mid-travel bikes. We visited Titus in Portland last year while on a bike trip. (It was an awesome visit! never met better people!) While there we heard rumors about a carbon El Guapo; only that it was being discussed. Interesting to learn that for some of the Titus models the carbon is less expensive to produce, but sells at higher price. It would be great to have some more profitable frames and see the company grow.

All that said, I love my El Guapo 26. However I am really dying to try the El Guapo 29!
