Need a convenient LBS in Austin: Texas Cycle Werks?

I'm looking to find a LBS for a quick tune up after I assemble my bike. Has anyone been to Texas Cycle Werks? Any reviews?

in that area, I believe you have Performance Cycling off of Lamar(same shopping center as Pokey Jo's), Bicycle Sports Shop is also pretty close on Lamar and 1st(maybe Riverside?). ATX Bikes is another, off of Slaughter and Mopac(heading towards Circle C)

    just to name a few.

Texas Cycle Werks is a great shop! The shop is run by two guys (Phillip and Steve) who do quality work and are nice as hell.

Texas Cycle Werks is great. I've bought 2 bikes from there now. Good mechanics, too.

i'll probably be going there. they have a tune up for only $45 which is better than most other places around. Seems like they don't make you wait too long either.

If you need a deluxe tune-up, they accept the Go Local card for something off, 20% I think.

They've always been same or next day on repairs if they have what they need.

He's correct...with the card you can get a deluxe tune up for the price of the basic. Also, the $15 dollar price difference pays for the Go Local Card itself if you don't have one.

Yup, and the GoLocal card is nice for various Austin businesses. I use it fairly often at Alamo Drafthouse and Kerbey Lane.

I use atx bikes off slaughter. Currently my bike is at arrowhead bikes getting serviced. A friend recommended them to me.
