My house backs up to Searight so I ride it regularly. Good loops, minor elevation changes, decent flow. Not a lot of bike traffic. Good for a 30-45 minute ride. My 8yo son on rides with me there.

Another decent mini trail system in the area is Longview Park near Westgate/William Cannon. Google it.

So when you ride searight, are you riding the disc course? Only trails I saw out there were pretty tame. Longview is a few blocks from my house. Decent trails for a quickie.
