Favorite Bike Shops

Hello Texans,

I'm trying to compile a list of favored bike shops in a few TX cities and was hoping you all can help. The list will be given to our Rep who will be visiting the Southwest.

I need shop info for Dallas/FW, San Antonio, and Austin. If you have other cities/shops you prefer I'd like to hear them. I hope you can help.

Thanks,

Pat

Don't forget Houston! Only the largest city in TX...

I like Sugar Cycles - they've taken great care of me lately.

In Houston, I like West End Bikes. Danial Boone is a neat shop too. I'm not a big fan of the chain bike stores, like Performance or Bike Barn.

Cycle Logic or RideAway (off 1604) would be my choices.

For me, sometimes the shop, as a whole, isn't great but, some of their employees make it a great experience!! Casey at Bicycle World in West Houston is a great resource and always willing to chat and help out. Another great thing, he rides, a lot!!! I see him pretty regularly on the local trails. Nice to stop and chat with someone who you can look to for help and advice!!

My two cents!!
