    Conroe, tx area, looking for trails

    I will be in the Conroe area soon and am looking at maybe taking my bike. Any good trails near by?

    There are also some trails right in town at Carl Barton Park. They're pretty short though. maybe 3.5 mile laps. But its free and there's no drive.

    I've been hearing that for almost three years. I'm beginning to think the new trail will never be built.

    I think the recent government furlough put things on hold a little longer. The design was completed almost 2 years ago. Things take time, especially with the government. We're hoping to start in April.
