    Mountain Bike Festival

    The Camp Eagle Classic Mountain Bike Festival presented by Kerrville Convention and Visitors Bureau, Richardson Bike Mart, and Hill Country Bicycle Works. Over 1200 people attended last year, and the event keeps getting better. This is the largest Mountain Bike Festival in the state and "Texas' best adventure destination."

    In addition to hosting the mountain bike cross country events, the Camp Eagle Classic brings a full weekend of activities. The race is committed to appealing to families as well as a wide variety of outdoor adventure participants. On tap for the weekend:

      • Too Cool Racing Family Fun Adventure Race
      • Adult/Junior Team Time Trial
      • Rockclimbing Palooza
      • Collegiate Omnium Event

      • The Bike Texas Kids Kup
      • Unicycle Race
      • I'm Not a Racer XC Race...
      • The Festival Velopalooza


    Camp Eagle is 1400 acres of the Texas Hill country; a spring-fed crystal clear river with 1.2 million new gallons of water every day; miles of pristine single track, clean limestone cliffs with bouldering, top rope, and lead sport climbing; more activities to do while you and your family and friends are here than you can shake a stick at. Add to all that, an enthusiastic staff who are excited to join you in your adventures and serve you every step of the way.

    TRAILS OPEN - 08/24 - 08/26 - Camp Eagle

    Hey Crew!

    Just wanted to throw a shout out to anyone who wanted to come out and ride!

    Our 16 mile trail loop will be open for anyone who wants to come out and ride. We have it marked for our Mountain Bike Festival coming up over Labor Day Weekend!

    Riding is free, no charge, just stop by the office and sign a waiver before you hit the trail, and get a trail map!

    We would love to have you all out! So come join us for a fun, free ride!

    Yeah,
    It will be available for pre ride, they might not have it completely marked for riding, but if you swing by the office before you go out, I can show you the lay out of it on a map. They are supposed to get it completely marked next weekend at some point.

    great time out there today for preride. Course wasn't 100% done or marked, but none the less, the weather and scenic view made up for it!

    how is the super d course? Anything technical or just downhill?
