Born in Arkansas, but visiting Texas :)

Hey, I'm coming to Dallas Texas for a week around Thanksgiving to visit the in-laws. Was wondering if you could help me find some fun long rides on single track, possibly a way to get 3-4 hours in at a 8-9mph pace. Heard you guys were famous for your hospitality...hoping I won't be disappointed

Sorry to break the bad news but with that pace and time your looking at ~ 24 mile minimum (unless you're doing laps).... and we don't have a Ouachita here.

If you hit all of Northshore, it's ~24 miles. It's north of Dallas.
Big Cedar is ~ 17 miles but it probably has the most elevation change of Dallas trails. Maybe it will slow you down from your preferred pace (like it does to me). It's on the south side of Dallas.

I would be happy to show you around either Northshore or Big Cedar. I run the Texas Mountain Bike Trails website. Feel free to shoot me an email about meeting up and riding there. email at texasmountainbiketrails dot com
When I'm not riding I help beginner mountain bikers learn new skills at Texas Mountain Bike Trails.
