    Biketoberfest - Fort Worth - 10/5/2013

    The Fort Worth Mountain Bikers’ Association (FWMBA) is hosting the first annual Biketoberfest at Martin House Brewery on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 1:00-5:00pm.

    The idea of Biketoberfest is . . . . .

    - To celebrate the bicycle!
    - To provide a venue where the bicycle loving people of north Texas can meet and mingle.
    - Kicking off the 2013-2014 FWMBA trail building season at the Gateway Park and Marion Sansom Park mountain bike trails.

    What will happen at Biketoberfest?

    - Mountain bike trail advocacy.
    - Announce dates of FWMBA trail building Workfests for 2013-2014.
    - Enjoy delicious Martin House Brewery beer!

    Will there be a bike ride at Biketoberfest? Yes!

    - Beginner, Intermediate and Expert and Woman’s mountain bike rides will meet at the Gateway Park trail head at 10:00am.

    How much to attend Biketoberfest and what does it get me?

    - $10 gets you three delicious Martin House Beers
    - Entry into Biketoberfest also includes rare, collectable Biketoberfest pint glasses (while supplies last).

    - First 100 folks get one-of-a-kind FWMBA DVD.

    For those that wish to travel with their bikes to Biketoberfest via the TRE the map above details Martin House Brewery's proximity to the closest TRE terminal at the Ft. Worth Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC) Station.

    Biketoberfest - October 5th - Martin House Brewing Company | Martin House Brewing Company

    Giant Bicycles will be there with their demo trailer

    If you wish to participate in a trail hike and lop Saturday morning the following is available:

    8am - Meet at gas burn-off for a light workday.

    8:30-10:30 - lop an hike the inner loop (new section for this season)
    11:00 - snacks at rally point
    12:00-12:30 – regroup at proper trailhead
    12:30 – Ride to Martinhouse
    GMAP pedometer <link> ~3mi from GW TH

    If you do not want to ride to the brewery, you can adjourn at noon and head over in your vehicle.
