    Volunteer(s) needed for time keeping.

We have a volunteer to handle the first few hours, but we need help from 10am to about 3 or 4pm.

    Anyone able?

The race will go on, but the venue may change (50/50 chance) to Reveille Peak Ranch which will be slightly harder, but is excellent in every way.

The decision will be made by 9am tomorrow morning. Please let anyone you know who is coming to the event (be ready to share our announcement status tomorrow morning on your facebook page) of this potential change and have them check-in here tomorrow morning for the final decision. We want to make sure everyone who wants to ride knows where to find us!

FYI - Vol, the owner of RPR was excited to host us even at short notice and will be getting the place ready.

The start times will be the same and will have a cut off time for final lap. There would be 4 or 5 laps on a yet unknown route that would include some combination of the race, lower, and upper loops but not the super-d or pump track with check-ins at the pavilion.

Thanks for signing up folks. We will make sure you have an event to participate in!

    Reveille Peak Ranch - ATX100k - The 6-Pack Series

This event location has moved to Reveille Peak Ranch which is a Moab-ish type riding experience with all the slickrock. It also drains super fast and the rocks do not get very slickery when wet unlike the limestone of Reimer's.

This venue charges $10 per participant at the gate, bring exact change!

Meet at the Pavilion at 7:30am for a briefing then we will start the first group at around 7:45am. There will be a hard cut-off to start the final lap at 6pm.

This ride is still self supported, but the facilities are much nicer.

The route will be developed, mileage tested, and marked today after this last round of rain and will be either four laps or five laps and "around" 100k long. There will be more total elevation gain here, and you will have a somewhat slower average speed as it has more technical sections (not necessarily harder, just more).

Feel free to funnel any questions you have to the meetup.com comment section or ask here. An organizer will answer them as able.

The course is marked (Tony and Todd in beast mode)! Notes are up - please read to get up to speed on the course and ask questions here. We are currently trying to build a proper GPX for all you Garmin kids. Get to Reveille Peak Ranch by 7 am so you can get signed in, get your pit set and make the pre-ride meeting at 7:30.

Results are finished! We had 40 riders sign in Sunday morning and we had 3 finish the entire 100k. Huge congratulations to Matt Barkley for a Herculean effort on a Single Speed. Rumor is he could barely walk and was unable to get his shoes off after he finished. Thad Williams came in 2nd on a geared bike followed very closely by John Russell on a single speed. ATX100k would like to extend a very sincere thank you to everyone who braved the vicious rainstorm to come out and ride an extreme route on an extreme trail at such short notice. HUGE thanks to Todd and Tony Lumpkin. for taking 'one for the team' and coming out the day before the race to scout and mark the route.

Velo Flow of the race. Since we had 11 riders using Strava, I was able to create flows with all riders named as well as a full race flow. The first link is the full race, 2nd is top 6 times and 3rd is final 5 times. This stuff is awesome!

The jersey fit kits are at Texas Cycle Werks. You can pay with check at TCW or you can pay with cash at Pace Bend next Saturday. This will be the first order, we'll do another order at/after Emma. Don't forget the 15% discount on accessories and 20% on tune-ups for ATX100k riders when you're at TCW.

Some images of the fit kit and me wearing the Euro and VPro medium. In my opinion, they fit exactly as I thought they would dropcanvas - instant drag and drop sharing - canvas view

Go try one on if you've qualified or if you plan to in the future. It'll be better to know your size for sure than to have to guess.

Do you like free stuff? Get to Pace Bend early because our sponsors are giving away Orange Seal, Toolsafes and T-Shirts BEFORE the race! Also, if you're running tubes and you get a flat, Orange Seal will convert the first 5 flats of the race to tubeless for FREE! Get there by ~6:30, pre-race meeting will be at 6:50ish and we're hoping to send the first group at 7.
