    Anyone from Corpus?

Are there any riders who live in Corpus Christi on here?
If so, what kinda riding do you do?

    Yes.
Riding a couple of cross bikes (most commuting to work).
Watching mtbr closely and looking for about getting a 29er.

Cool... I'm looking for trail riders not only to ride some bandit trails with, but to shoot some video for an adventure doc that I'm working on... I know a place with a few good drops, some small jumps and a couple of gnarly sections...

I am going to be spending a few days down there in a couple of weeks...any decent trais around there. Bandit or official, doesn't matter.

There are a couple of good bandit trails that I know about... nothing really in the way of official trails except one paved trail if you like that sort of thing.

I know of a bandit trail that has some good singletrack XC type stuff and then there is another with a couple of jumps, whoops, and a sketchy section or two that is really fun.

Use google maps. going south from SPID go airline road to cimarron. almost at the end of cimarron take a left at marcarena and and right at salsa. That ends in a parking lot for the only official mountain bike in town.

going urban commando from park to park works as well

    Thanks, Ill check it out!

The area around Carbon Plant Rd and Hearns Ferry near the back end of the port looks like it would make a GREAT area for a trail. Was driving through there a few months ago and was hoping there was one there for this trip.
