Cool-blue Rhythm Anybody interested in vintage klunkers/mountain bikes around Houston???

Posted this on ghorba.org as well:

Thought I'd see how many of you would be in if my buddies and I started a Vintage MTB Club in Houston. Club would serve as a parts exchange resource, we will hold classic Klunker & MTB theme group rides, social gathering, build-off contests and classic Klunker/Mountain Bike shows...........

There are several groups on the west coast & east coast where there are more "mountain" bikers, so I have been wondering if the concept would fly around here.

I personally own a few of both old school and new school rides, but I am very addicted to the history of the sport and would like to hang with a group of like minded cats...

Let me know what you think.....

irideiam, you get my first post back from the dead. My main bike is a late 90's Ibis Mojo I bought new from West End. I might be interested in a group or joining you guys for a ride every once in a while. I'm in the northwest and usually ride the Hundred Acre Wood or Cypresswood (collins park).
