*AUSTIN*- Oct 19th: HH Thumper Bicycle DEMO & LAUNCH PARTY

    Hello all,

Everyone is invited to come join the Hammerhead crew for the Austin launch of the new Thumper 130mm travel FS bike! This event will take place at the Thumper trail...of course! It will take place at the house of Bill, the trail's founder, who's backyard accesses the trail directly. There will be BBQ, beer and half a dozen Thumper demo bikes to ride on a pre-set short-loop on Thumper. Bill's house is in a culdesac off Yaupon and it perfect for this kind of event. Feel free to bring the kids and the family, the backyard has a pool too.

HH Thumper Bicycle Launch Party & Demo
-Friday, Oct 19th, Bully Hill Cove @ 4pm
    -Demo Bikes in all sizes
    -BBQ, Beer & Bikes

Think of this as the end of season Thumper Thurs party, combined with the old HH Beer Blog friday.

More pics and details to come!

Please post up with any questions or comments.

    Thanks

Its extremely near the address in the original post. In fact Bill's house accesses the trail from his back yard. Come join the fun on Friday and we can give you the low-down. Its a VERY UNIQUE situation in that the trail is on private HOA property. However, we are "allowed" to ride there. But one of the stipulations is that they've asked that the trail not directly be advertised. Thats why there's so little info about it...and why we are marketing this as a bike launch party at Bill's house.

    Thanks

Friendly reminder for the HH Thumper Bicycle launch party and demo tomorrow. Looks like we will have great weather and great trail conditions too. It may be too cool for swimming in the pool, but thats your own prerogative. Rudy's BBQ is confirmed as well as much quality beer. There will be some free HH swag and trinkets combined with good conversation and an overall fun time.

    Tomorrow beginning at 4pm

    Host house address below:
    9519 Bully Hill Cove
    Austin Tx 78759

We will be marking off the demo loop today so bring your shoes and helmet with you.

    Thanks
    CJB

There's a reason it's called Thumper. For me, it's a great place to take a bike for a walk...

Its a combined demo & launch party so we'll still be hanging out as the sun goes down. With Beer, BBQ & bikes most of us could hang out and talk for quite some time.

The demo loop has been marked and will start from Bill's back yard. This means a couple of things:
-it cuts off the really tough stuff at the beginning
-the loop has been crafted to actually allow non-Thumper riders to get a feel for the bike
-its not entended to be too long so demo's can turn over regularly
-its also close to the socializing

    **BONUS**
If any of you are considering riding the Enchilada Buffet in 2 weeks then this launch party could be a good way to come out and get a feel for the Thumper trail (area). I can also be there answering questions about the EB (and Thumper route).

    See you all this afternoon.
