Pilots and tandems, do they fit?

Looks like we might need to trade in our classic Honda CR-V for a Pilot. Not that we want to but we might have to for towing larger trailers. Has anyone here who owns a Pilot, tried fitting their tandems into it?? From looking at the more modern ones, we thought if the center bench seat was removed, a tandem might fit in there diagonally. Thanks!!.

I've spent a lot of time with the current '09-'11 Pilot, and I've frequently carried bikes in the back, although I have not tried our tandem. As you probably know the the second and third row seats fold flat. However, it's kind of at a slope. Depending on your tandem, I think that if you remove both the front and rear wheels, you may be able to make it fit. Although, if you just remove the front wheel and both seat posts, you may be able to fit it standing up. I'm not sure if removing the second row seats will buy you much extra space.

Go to a dealer and check one out.
May the air be filled with tires!
