Avid Elixir on a tandem build

    Hi guys,

Anyone know the length of hose I'll need for a tandem? I'll be using Avid Elixir brakes front and rear. Here's our build project:

No one is going to know the length of hose needed for a custom tandem frame. Any one of us can measure the length we have on our bikes, but that's just a WAG as to what you'll need. Measure twice, and all that.

Would also suggest that you're losing your "light" aspect of using aluminum tube by going with the crazy wall thickness to compensate for a lack of heat treat.

Get some string or some wire to zip-tie to the frame for length of hydro hose.

I really think that rear rocker is gonna snap. It's gonna be under some serious stress.

It's never easier - you just go faster.
