    Will Schwalbe Big Apple 29er's fit on Karate Monkey?

    Is anyone running or know if the Schwalbe Big Apple 29er's will fit ok on the Karate Monkey? Thanks!

    I'm tracking the Monkey will fit the fattest 700c tires available. Or damn near.

    I know there's a lot of love out there for the Big Apples, but dang they are heavy. If you do a lot of starts and stops, it takes awhile to accelerate those pigs back up to speed. Also, if you run the 2.35s with V-brakes and gears (wheel all the way forward), the cable gets awfully close to the tire (the part of the cable that exits the noodle and goes to the other brake arm).

    I had the same problem with my Exiwolfs. Monkey nuts solved the problem for me.

    The liteskins are great. But I was happy w/ the regulars before then.
