    Troll Frame Weight?

    Couldnt find anything in the troll thread and still TBA on the site. Anyone weigh theirs accurately?

    I do not have a Troll frame, only a Troll fork and it weights 1180 grams (considerably less than the stated weight of 1320 grams).

    I have a Troll, but didn't bother weighing it. Surly's have never been super light or super heavy. On that note, I think Surly has stated that the tube set is the same as the 1x1. There is the 2010 1x1 weight in the old catalogs: 18" = 2300g (5.0 lbs) Fork: uncut = 1100g (2.3 lbs). I'd add just add a little to that for all the mounts and the different dropouts and go from there. I see that they didn't give the 1x1's weight this year yet either. Hope that helps a little.

    We have a 16" here at the shop with fork .

    Orange Troll 16" with posts for v-brakes

    Frame with collar---5.6lb (2460gr)

    Fork-- 2.53lb (1145gr)

    That's not bad - thanks! 16" is my size too. I've always wondered because those dropouts look beefy.
