I bought it as a stop gap till I could afford a genuine Jeff Jones but enjoying the J-bar so much I've not gotten around to it.

Bought this lightly used Ogre frame to replace my Monocog frame, and added the J-Bar, and though it feels slightly different than Monocog, it felt just right from the first ride.

Should give the J-Bar a new wrap though, and maybe get a black saddle.

J-bars are out of production, right? I can't seem to find any for sale

Edit: Titec ones, that is - not the $380 Jeff Jones one

The Titec H-bars were more prevelant. You can still find them to Cl and E-bay from time to time. I have bought 3 pair that way. And the Jones' are only $120 for the alloy ones, not bad considering.

Yeah they are out of production now.
I grabbed mine for $25 off Ebay.
I think the $380 JJ ones are the Titanium versions.

Asphault dude -- can I recommend a top down wrap with your bar tape to get rid of that ugly duct tape?

I'm lazy. Most of the time I'm too lazy to even shift gears, that's why I like SS

By the way: only now I put gears on it I really noticed what a pig the Ogre is. It's hardly any faster with gears than with 36/19 SS setup. Will probably go back to SS pretty soon.

Hi, I bought my Ogre 3 weeks ago, it's a very good bike, I lik it. I want to put on it a rear pack, I seearched and tubus cargo looks good. Do you know if it is O.K with original tyres of the bike (WTB Exiwolf 29" in 2,3).

In France, this rear pack is only under command, so I can't try it before buy it.

Do you have any issues with toe overlap on the small frame? Much appreciated.

The Ogre got some upgrades. New high volume pump (which will be spending the winter on the fatbike) and crank.
