    Surly New Wool Jersey

Hey, anyone tried the newest version of the Surly wool jersey? I'm curious if they run true to size. Is the fit clingy or tight. I realize there are a lot of variables into fit but just curious about impressions.

    Thanks.

Been wearing mine everyday for the last 5 weeks now. I wear an xl shirt and went for the xxl jersey. Peter from surly let me try his on (an xxl) and it fit great. So that's what I went with. I wear it as a piece of outerwear, not just a jersey so I didn't want it too tight. The arms are pretty long though, but not too long. The back of the jersey is so rad....plenty long. I'm 6' all torso and have a hard time finding shirts that are long enough, and this jersey does the trick.

Zombie wool! I'm bringing this one back cause I'm looking at these, but sizing chart on Surly's site says I'm XXL in the chest, L in the arms, it's a touch confusing. L shirts are generally fitted on my 6' frame, X-Large are just a touch too big in most cases (t-shirts). Anyone bought one since 2013?

I have a men's long sleeve wool jersey. My chest size is about 38" and the Surly chart says I should buy a small. I have a size medium, it fits a little baggy so I can wear a jersey or base layer underneath without issue.

it's wearing well, and it's one of my favorite articles of clothing.
the sleeves have come undone at the cuffs, but other than that it's in great shape. i generally wear it every day from october-march every season...no joke. def got my $$$ worth!

I have a long and short sleeve jersey,5'8" 150lbs, both are size small.

The heavy wool long sleeve fits great, on and off the bike and feels awesome. Its too warm in FL to wear this on the bike 99% of the year, but it's been great in camp and around town. I think it will be perfect for some overnight trips I plan on doing this winter.

The lighter short sleeve one fits much looser around the body and sags too much if I put anything in the pockets so I rarely use it on the bike. I have used it a bunch for hiking and trail running and camp use and its pretty great for that. I wish it fit because it feels great otherwise.

Haha, I would die if I ever had to wear one in Florida. I live in Colorado and commute in short sleeves and shorts down to 45 degrees.

I wear a Large as a baselayer and it fits perfectly. I've got a 41 or 42 inch chest.
