Any of you who have replaced the fork have trouble separating the bottom bearing from the crown race?

yes, on every 40mm to 30mm crown race. I use either a small flat head or a pick of some sort.

I had no issue, but I'm not running the stock headset so maybe thats why.

I had this same problem as well, I don't take the forks off often so it took me awhile to figure out why the hell my new fork was making weird grinding noises. Too much grease concealed the culprit.

Now whenever I see a sale on headset or BB bearings or crown races compatible with my bikes i give them my money, never hurts to have handy spares of these.

    Edit: I found my answers:
    Rf BB shell: https://youtu.be/aQBGOIKGuAo
    Rf Crankset: https://youtu.be/cUdi67QJ6bo

    Cross-posted from other ICT thread:
Which BB sleeve do you guys use for the RF cinch? Bought a used frame which didn't have the BB or anything else. I know you can run the bearings without the sleeve no problem, just have to watch the exposure to fluids - but I would rather not go this route, at least not with RF bearings. Surly states their BB shell is 132.5mm and apparently there is a RF BB sleeve to match. I bought an RF crank & spindle (for 190mm)and then a BB sleeve & adaptor kit (the little 5mm spacers) which according to that seller supposedly fits the ICT BB, yet it clearly states for max 124mm BB only (it measures 107~8 mm itself). It doesn't help that upon asking for guidance, the seller turned into a patronizing, chest-thumping bozo, sooo...any help, Tia!

Solved my problem by buying a 2nd ICT frame. One I will run 1x11 27.5+ with my fox 34 (we'll see if I can sneak a CakeEater up front for winter), the other I will keep 2x10 all fat, but possibly pick up some 29+ for backcountry bike packing.

    1X11 Sram

OK, Can you run a 1X11 SRAM set up on this bike? I think I called surly and got the right hanger for it, but it just doesn't seem 100%.. I'm wishing I would have gone shimano now , I have a 29 plus wheel set that put a new freehub on it so i can run sram.
