    Surly 1x1, 1x9 drivetrain, dropbar-ed, 29er... any comments?

    Here's the spec:
    Surly 1x1 18" green
    Polygon road dropbar
    Shimano 2300 shifter/levers
    Truvativ stylo race 50mm stem

    Salsa delgado 29er rims

    Truvativ crankset with 38t chainring
    Shimano Acera RD
    XT front hub, Shimano M545 freehub
    Shimano alivio 8 speed cassette
    Bengal mechanic brakeset
    Charge bucket saddle
    UNO Seatpost

    yes i know it's too high for me but heck... this bike is soo comfy to commute, and i can't wait till sunday to take her offroad/XC-ing, the tyre clearance is so amazing for front tyre, even it's a bit tight, only for the rear is a lil bit goin edgy at the dropout, but with Problem Solver universal derailleur hanger, it got no problem at all! hell yeah i'm so in love with my bike.

    That is pretty fantastic bike. If I was forced to have one bike, I'd keep my 1x1 for sure.

    nice build! say, how sketchy is the rear dropout situation with the 29" wheel, anyway? after lots of searching, I can't seem to find anything on how tight it is...
