Nobody cares what kind of bike you ride.

hey earthpig....it seems horribly ironic that the same Surly that both you and I so foolishly sold is in this thread twice!

very, very cool pics by the way

Now we just need Red5 to post an action photo and she'll be in there 3x. Loving my new 1x1 - I also recently decided to stop being such a girl and went back to riding rigid, arthritic wrists, hands and fingers be damned!

That section is on the Canney Bottoms trail. It is one of the three trails that we like to make an epic out of, leaving from the Fish Hatchery parking. We do Canney Bottoms, Daniel Ridge and finish with Long Branch followed by some food and beer. Actually, last time we rode there that section had been mellowed out. When that pic was taken, about a year and a half ago, it had serious endo potential as the steps are about 1-2.5' high, snot-slick year 'round root covered death traps. At the bottom is a log bridge that is do-able but still sketchy. These trails are in my top five all time rides.

Does this reflect Surly attitude? Don´t know, but I like it a lot.

"To je Havaj" is Czech and means "This is Hawaii". Picture was taken at Harrachov train station in the Giant Mountains, Czech Republic, during my ride from the German/Czech border to Ukraine this summer.

Loved the ride, love the bike. It´s fixed now.

I might have to try that one out. I have only been there a few times and never on any of those. I usually been near the black mtn, bennet, buckhorn, pilot rock and some creek trail that runs for ever. Not sure on the exact path that I have been on, I have a hard enough time trying to stay up right, much less remember what trail I am on.

Here are a few pics from my last ride there. http://www.bentcrank.net/images/pisgah/pisgah.htm
