    Pacer Brake Help

Has anyone used short reach brakes, especially Campy, on their Pacer? From what I can see they might not have a long enough reach.

I was hoping for something a little less extreme. But I'll give you extra credit for ingenuity. I've got enough spare Campy parts to put together another bike, like I really need one. I need brakes though. So, before I buy I'd figure asking would be cheaper in the long run.

What year frameset is that? AFAIK before 2011 you could use short reach brakes, newer frames need long reach brakes.

How do you tell? It's the current green color. Is the year in the S/N? It's nice frame and would probably make a nice general purpose bike.

Look at the serial number stamped under the bottom bracket. The number following the letter M is the year of production, i.e. M2**** is 2002 and so on.
