To owners of Surly LHT 54 and 58 cm size on 26'' wheels. Need HELP!

Mates, I would be very pleased if somebody who got this frames will help me. We are going to make long trip around SEA for 1-2 years and for this purposes 2 frames from Surly were ordered from Germany and now they are on the way to Russia.

I need to make 2 custom inner frame bags and manufacturers said me to give them detailed info about size of each frame to make bags good fit. I need just four photo of dimensions of inner part of the frame, you can see them on picture below. Length from points A-B, B-D, A-C, C-D.

    Thank you in advance

Dude Wild Cat Gear in the UK sells a frame bag that fits the LTH.

In regards to your trip, I came over to Europe from the US thinking I would have a nice ride for a year or two. Its been ten years now, still in Europe, this much fun has to healthly.

Headed over to Turkey for the winter, maybe Georgia and then who knows come Spring.

If ou like send me a private message, I will forward you my contact details. Ten years of expedition biking around Europe, I have some good contacts I could forward you for bike parts to camping spots and routes.

    Take care and have fun.

Thank you mate, but I dont have time to wait for shipping bag from England to Russia, and we got here custom made bags for relatively low price, so dimensions of frame still wanted)

Regarding your trip - its cool!!! Ten years travelling - my dream, but not through Europe. SEA region works for me like a magnet! Thank you and ride safe!

Cant your frame bag people take the measurements from this chart. I have the 56cm Surly Disc Trucker, I guess that wouldn't be any help to you.

They said that it would be hard to make good fit of bags to frame, I already check and gave them data from Surly website.

Here's what I came up with from my 2008 54cm frame,

    A-B= 18 1/2"
    B-D= 22 1/4"
    A-C= 20 1/8"
    C-D= 2 7/8"
    Give me clear skies,
    Good friends,

Thank you so much, mates! Vikb sent you pm, it seems that "AD" dimension is wrong.

AD should have read AC. The measurement is accurate.
