    Ogre/Monkey fork shudder on braking

Is this normal? I am using BB7s on both bike and when I brake the forks really move back and forth!!!

Could this be due to brake setup or just the nature of the forks?

I don't notice any fork shudder on my Ogre and I'm using BB7s as well.

    Another Ogre + BB7 user here (185mm G3 disc)

Some brake shudder at very low speeds, none at normal riding speed.

The fork does flex a bit backward when braking (more than the fork on my Monocog) but that's normal.
    Ride more!

KM/Ogre forks are fairly stout. I haven't noticed any sort of flutter. My Cross Check, under heavy braking, does shudder a tiny bit. Nothing I can't manage, though.

Years back I had a Kona Jake the Snake and the fork on that sucker shuddered like I was in an earthquake. When I upgraded to a Cross Check, it was much improved. When I moved to the Ogre, both those older bikes felt flimsy. When I hit the brakes on the Ogre, that thing comes to a halt with no complaint.

Stopping is not a problem, maybe the shudder is to do with the way I have set up the brakes. As a side note the Monkey was loaded on the front with a revelate sweetroll the last time, I am sure that this added to the shudder effect!!!!

Have to check but I think they are either the ones that came with bb7 brakes or avid g3.
