    no more Travelers Check?

Is it gone or is everyone just low on stock? I think it's cool (I own a Cross Check) just a bit overpriced...

I thought they ditched it when the brought out the LHT Deluxe - maybe chance to get one on closeout? (I got mine when its color was closed out, still not cheap for sure)

I'd think just low stock. Surly's stock on a lot of things right now is more down than up. Besides, they probably would have said a proper good-bye to it in their blog

I think they did a while ago, I don't have a link but I remember them saying it's been phased in in favour of the LHT deluxe. The 26" wheels of the LHT deluxe fit into regulation airline boxes, vs. the 700c wheels of the CxC that don't fit inflated.

The price is high relative to the other Surly frames, but considering all the extra machine work that goes into the couplings, I think it's fair.

Well, I emailed Surly directly since that's the best source of answers.

She is finished, no more being produced.

If you want one and have found one, get it. Although they said buying the Cross Check and having couplers put in would likely be about the same price in the end.
