    New Surly Prototype?

Hey guys, on the Surly Official page on Facebook there's a new pic. Three Unicorns and an Instigator frameset. Just a decal on it. Prototype.
    Something new?
    Let's wait!

It's probably just an old picture.

+1 - Surly discontinued all unicorn related models a few years ago...

Funny, if they actually brought out an updated Instigator I'd probably buy one.

I'd consider it if they made one large enough.

I really wanted an Instigator before getting my Chameleon a few years ago.

The On One 456, Chromag, and Ragley frames have proven that there's a market for rambunctious hardtails. Seems like the Instigator was a predecessor but Surly just decided to go fat with everything rather than gnarly.

That looks like an original instigator with the plain dropouts, good frames, still a few NOS 18" available in the UK for quite cheap (150).

A bright red NOS 16" Instigator is on the way.

Nice! Just about to get mine powder-coated. Was thinking red originally but switched to neon-yellow, now ive seen that im toying with switching back to red again.

Any other suggestions for instigator suitable colours?

I didn't know it until I read this thread but the Instigator is exactly what I was looking for.

It is a rad bike for sure. I wish they would still make it. However, the Krampus looks gnarly as frig, and I want one.

I forgot how cool a bike with v-brakes can look, great build. Ive cut the v-bosses off mine now and trimmed the gusset (ooo-matron!), just needs powder and it'll be back on the road. Red is definitely the colour!!

^ How is the powder coat coming along? I mounted the winter tires yesterday, Nevegal 2.5", not quite fat, more like pudgy.
