Let's see your KM builds
I'm about ready to order my Dark Black Karate Monkey frame and have been building it up on paper. I couldn't find any one thread with a lot of KM pictures on it, so if you don't mind post up some pics so I can get some ideas. Descriptions too if you want.
^ wow, that's a beauty! I dislike my boring black frame and I miss my fat 2.35 rampages but this is my current winter commuter, it rocks hard!
Very Nice  Is that a 16" frame? Love the color; mine is pearl-coffee.

I liked the "coffee metallic", but couldn't get past the name of skid mark brown
Husker Blu is a good color, but if I was buying now, I'd probably go with Chum Red - but then I'd have to figure out a non-red accent color for it.
PS: I started with a standard SRAM 3x9 drivetrain - then added a Lefty, all of which is now on my FS29er.
22" black beauty

Greenlightgo - is that a Mary bar, or a Fleegle?
lx, xt, xtr mix of parts
monkeybar carbon bar
thompson post and stem
new wheels on order from mikesee (tax refund by by)
extra set of wheels with Big Apples for running paved paths
Neither - Titec J-bar. I previously spent about 10 months on my rigid Monocog Flight with a Titec H-bar. My wife has that bar now so I went for the new J-bar since I had the right length Thomson X4 stem in my spare parts bin. I didn't need the rise either.

Mine's the POS behind it, but I really like this singlespeed commuter I saw last week.
Here's a pic of my medium KM. I stripped it down and repainted it before ever building it up. A few things have changed since this picture was taken when I got it in 2005, but I think it's still a god picture.

the g2 fork @ 100mm is SWEET :) but i still need to play with the bar/stem combo... it's not pretty but considering i've got less then $700 into the entire rig it's amazing...

The details have changed, but the frame remains the same. I'm particularly (re)psyched on the fun of such a great frame. So I'll indulge myself in the details:
18" brown frame
UN-54 BB, 165mm 94 bcd Race Face DH cranks, 30t ring
Surly hubs, 32h, DT Swiss comps, Mustang front rim, Open Pro rear, 18t Eno freewheel.
XDX front, Nano rear. Tubeless.
90mm Thomson X4, 800mm Kore bar, old Avid levers, small Ergon GP1s.
BB7 front, Tektro Oryx rear.
Thomson post, saddle soon to be a Gobi XM.

It's a great, great bike.
Its seen many, many builds. Touring, ss, mountain bike, commuter, road bike.
It is currently in spring snow-slush meltout town mode.
Nokian studs switched out yesterday for the exi's.
2 x 8
what rims are those?... and I WANT GROOVY LUV :)
The rims are old 44mm 29er snowcats - unavailable now.
The bars are Ti from www.speedwaycyclesak.com
Speedway also has similar (& much better) 50mm 29er rims in stock
Greenlightgo - the frame bag is Epic Designs - It what puts my bread on the table ;)
Post Shake-down ride changes.
Went back to the KM fork - handling is much more intuitive than with the Jamis Exile fork. Looks better too -
I agree- I keep waffling between 1x9 and SS on mine, but I wish Salsa offered the cro-moto grande with rim-brake studs. The KM fork is pretty, well, rigid :D Nice ride!
