    Knard 41 availability?

    Hi.

Anyone know if the Knard 41 is available for purchase?

Surly's website doesn't mention anything about whether these are available now. I was speculating they wouldn't be until the Straggler ships.

    Anyone know?

    TIA.

I haven't seen any word of when the 2014 tires will be available. I'm keen on the Dirt Wizards, but I'm not expecting to see any until we are into 2014 for real.
    Safe riding,

They're not even listed on QBP yet. It may be a while. Perhaps that's why the Stragglers have been post-poned.

Does anyone know if these are true 700x41? Seems an odd size (41) to throw out there if they're a different size so I'll assume that's what they are. I really wish they'd done a monstercross size that would be the fattest tire for the XCheck, like 48 or so. Oh well...

I was thinking that, but my shop is expecting their first set of frames in this week...one of which is mine. No mention of tires yet, though.
Oh noes. I'm going to drink the Kool-Aid.

I was able to pick up a pair at my LBS earlier today. They said they had just gotten them in and I was the first person to purchase any. Grabbed the 120 tpi folding bead, and will be seeing how they fare in a CX race next weekend.

My bike guru hooked me up with a pair today. Thanks Norm!

Haven't mounted them yet, but anticipate they will go on the wheels on my Fargo. I'll be putting these on some Salsa Semi laced wheels. Really curious to see how they'll fare on the Semis given that they're 30mm wide which is the recommended width limit for the Knard 41s.
