    Fendering a Troll?

I've noticed from pics posted here than many of you are running fenders on your Troll, and that most of those have the front fender mounted so that it matches the countour of the tire pretty closely. Considering that the 100mm corrected fork leaves a lot of air between the fork crown and the top of the tire, there's got to be some trickery involved in not having the fender mounted far from the top of the tire. Obviously, those of you who are doing this have used something to brigde that distance--I'm just not sure what.

I'd sure appreciate some info about what's been done, and even better yet, some pictures of everyone's setups.

    Thanks!

Not a Troll, but it's the same problem/solution with a Big Dummy. I just used a scrap bit of metal.

    Nice Vik.
Good snug fit! I haven't mounted them yet, but I think my Ogre fenders will need the same treatment.

I did similar on my troll, it really bothers me when fenders do not fit the contour of the tire.

    Here's mine.

I used two pieces of metal for a little extra strength. Also added an extra set of stays to the fender to make it a little more stable. The wider tires would make contact with the fender over larger bumps. Basically converted the Hardcore fenders to Cascadias with the the extra stays and mudflap.
