Cross Check single speed rear hub 130 vs 135

Hi all, I will be getting a CC frame soon. What are the pro's and cons of the 130 vs 135 width rear hubs. I want to build wheels with the Velocity A23 rims and Surly hubs.
    Thanks, MikeB

Given the choice, I go with 135 hubs. Disc hub with rim-brake compatible rim for max swap-ability between frames that take 700/29er wheels.

135 will have slightly less dish...really negligible though.

You've already chosen your hubs, but one benefit of 135 hubs is the greater number of options to choose from.
Oh noes. I'm going to drink the Kool-Aid.

Personally I used a 130 hub and just respaced it to 132.5. You could do the same with a 135 but you have to pay more attention to the axle protrusion.

I think it more comes down to useage. 135mm are generally for MTBs and thus better sealed, a 130mm road hub may save you a few grams.

Go with 135mm. It'll spread the chainstays out and give you a little more tire/fender clearance.
