black krampus 2014/2015 frame only option?

as the title says, will there be a krampus ops as a frame only option? are the rear drops the only changes or are there more?

Yes, and even better. With the frameset you should get all three dropouts.

Just a note the new MDS dropouts mean you can't get the same short wheelbase as the original Krampus if that matters to you.

I run my rear wheel slammed and at least one person on MTBR went back to their old style Krampus after trying the new MDS model and not liking the longer WB.

AFAIK there are no changes aside from the modular dropouts.

    he speaks the truth.
i thought it wouldn't matter but i immediately disliked the handling of the Ops with the fixed drops.
to further make me sad, if i ran the horizontal (SS) drops, i could get that same short wheelbase that helped make the Krampus the funnest bike evarrr... but i couldn't have a derailleur.

so... i went back to the green frame

Do you have any numbers on chainstay lengths between the Krampus Ops and Krampus? How much longer are the chainstays for a derailleur equipped Ops?

I don't have the exact numbers in front of me, but I do recall it's a 3/4" difference.
