All of them will fit. Most 2.0"-2.2" will fit with the wheel in the most forward position. Go bigger and you will have to pull the wheel back some.

Specifically how fat can you go on the fork with a 650b? I have a 26x2.4 Ardent up front but just ordered some Velocity Blunt 35 650b. I'll probably stay 2.2ish in the rear.

650b blunts with 2.4 x-kings. plenty of clearance in the front as well.

Awesome. Thanks for info. I ordered a Geax Goma 2.4 for the front and Ardent 2.25 rear. I'll post pics when it's ready!

The fork had ample clearance on the sides and under the crown with the Goma 2.4. Didn't really get a chance for pics. I cracked my frame over the weekend, no injuries luckily.

Poor decision. I jumped off of a lip and didn't land well. Didn't have time to correct my line before the trail curved around to the right and I hit a tree. The down tube buckled and the top tube snapped.

I have been running 2.35 Hans Dampf's. I like them. Big and squishy.

    Rusheleven,
I am curious about your Vee Rubber tires. Do you run a shock on your bike? I am wondering how the 2.4 clears a suspension fork. Also how do you find the tires.

    Thanks,
    Gary

I'm around 9 months or so in with these wheels/tires. Upgraded from some 26x2.3 continentals.

Big upgrade for XC conditions that are really rocky and rough. Almost as smooth as my 29er (KM) was but much more maneuverable.

The tires have 600 miles on them off road and a decent amount of time spent cruising around the neighborhood/commuting as well (they are painfully slow on pavement). They are starting to fall apart. Missing one knob on the rear and the rest are getting quite chewed up. Maybe 5 flats or so since I put them on. (I'm running tubes though these are tubeless compatible.) All of the flats have been from thorns.

The tires seem to roll fairly fast and hook up fantastic on climbs and corners. They are heavy though. I believe that I weighed them in the 900g range apiece.

Overall I think I made a good purchase and have been happy with the tires. When I got them they were the fattest 27.5 tires available and for the price they are fantastic.

When they finally bite the dust I'll get something else because I like to play with options, not because they sucked!
