I've tried a few flat/low-rise bars and the range of 12 - 14 deg is perfect for me. Specifically like (from experience) the Syntace 12 deg Vector, but I'm looking for something much less expensive. No luck. Seems like 8 deg is the new black. Any suggestions?
Thanks - I wasn't aware of the Bontrager bars. But, they are too narrow - I should have mentioned I'm looking for 700mm.
I currently use those Salsa bars on my daily driver and may just get them for my new build too. The rise of the Syntace bar makes a noticeable difference and is really a perfect fit for me, but at $200+, quite a splurge. I now see Syntace makes an aluminum version (Vector 7075) for ~$100.
You can get salsa pro moto bars in 11 degree, 710mm length
Pro moto 3 is their cheaper aluminum one, pro moto 2 is their lighter aluminum one, pro moto 1 is carbon (not 100% sure on the length and sweep of the carbon though)
On-One Fleegle bars are pretty nice. The 'Pro' version (which I have on my ss KM) is 660mm wide, the 'normal' bar is 716mm (and a fair bit heavier). Both are 30 bucks, free shipping.
Do you know the weight of the regular Fleegle? It's currently out of stock at On-One, but I'll look elsewhere.
