I have decided I need a Corbin fork on my 9:0:7! It's purely an impulse driven, carbon bling desire with no practical need. Aside from the dollars, is this a waste or a step backwards? I currently have no need for fork mounts for fenders or bags and I really am not planning on clownshoe size rims and tires. I'm too old and fat to race but I find a lot of joy riding fat! My wife would appreciate someone slapping some sense into me before I pull the trigger. Any takers?
Bought a Carver carbon fork this summer and have been on it at least 6 hours a week. Super light and lively, but has a little flex - not much though. Had a 235 lb. trials rider do front wheel stands on it and it passed with flying colors - cringed a little though when I thought of the cost.
