Rode the RIP last year and loved it. However this bike is so much more fun in Pisgah. Everything technical happens in slow motion on this bike.

Ric,

nice ride.

How are those torch wheels? I am heavy and looking for some stiff wheels, wondering how much you weight and what your thoughts are on the strengh,

Thanks
The wheels are fantastic. I'm only 160 and my bag is generally very heavy and there's some pretty rough terrain here in pisgah. I just wanted a super wide, responsive wheelset that I could be confident in it's durability. So far I've only had to touch them up once and I've been pounding them all over, hitting square edges and big rocks and they're straight as ever. We've got a monster of a man riding these wheels too and they're holding up great under him.
