Fatback: Old and New Frames

My old Fatback frame has served me well the last couple years. I'm a very happy customer. I have completed races and rides of all sorts. These include the Susitna 100, Shenandoah Mountain 100, Devils Backbone Mountain Cross 100, Hilly Billy Roubaix and various XC and Adventure races. By simply changing rim widths and tires, it truly has been a "one bike does all". Earlier this year I noticed the ride was feeling sloppy. After close inspection, I found a crack in the frame. It was near a weld of the top of the BB (drive side). After a short discussion and pictures exchange with Greg @ Speedway, they sent me a replacement frame (was still under warranty). Hassle free...as if should be. The new frame geometry is one I have not seen before and weighs a couple ounces more than the old frame. I can't wait to see the difference in ride feel.
